A beautiful and athletic filly of great charisma and showstopping presence! When she moves she really shakes things up. She has a beautiful, elastic, upright neck with long legs and a gorgeous face! She is very balanced and athletic, with a powerful "motor". She was always a friendly little filly with an almost "cheeky" personality, but has always been the easiest temperament of all of our foals to deal with, being very laid back and thoughtful about learning things. She has inherited her granddam Donica's "spirit", and we are thrilled that we have another "little Donica." As she has grown we have taken to calling her "the supermodel", because she has grown into an incredibly TALL filly, and her entire attitude is that she is 'all that', and she insists on being the center of attention...and when she moves, you could swear she was always strutting down a runway! We are very pleased with how this cross turned out and may try it again! She is linebred on both top and bottom to the Saklawi I sire line of Ali Pasha Sherif. On the top side of her pedigree we see the incomparable Magnum Psyche, Padrons Psyche, Padron, Khouros, Bask, Comet and Khemosabi. And her sire is linebred to Aswan. On the bottom side of her pedigree are the great horses Thee Infidel, Thee Desperado, The Minstril, *Khofo, Probat, Negatiw, Comet. And her granddam Donica is linebred to Comet. QA Pstardancer goes tail female to Poland's legendary source of athleticism: Forta. Her granddam MWF Donica is our foundation Polish mare, a daughter of the incomparable Polish legend, Probat. Donica has consistently contributed a beautiful forehand with a gorgeous neck set and length, incredible disposition and intelligence, fantastic movement, a desire to work, and outstanding heart. Donica is linebred to Comet, who is credited as the source from which the Arabian inherited much of it's most extreme and correct action. Donica's dam Donna is said by some to have been one of Negatiw's most beautiful daughters. Dysputa, Donna's dam, was one of Comets most beautiful and valuable daughters. For more about the extraordinary Polish Arabian heritage that Pstardancer hails from, see MWF Donica's pedigree. Pstardancer's incredibly beautiful and superlative dam, QA Divine Infidel is from possibly the most illustrious Straight Egyptian sire line of this century: Shaikh Al Badi, Ruminaja Ali, The Minstril, Thee Desperado, and then Thee Infidel by the "million dollar mare", Bint Magidaa...dam of too many great stallions to list here...literally the dam of a dynasty. Pstardancer's sire comes from no less of an illustrious and prolific family, that of the incomparable Magnum Psyche-Padrons Psyche-Padron, a prolific line known for producing consistently great beauty, quality, and type. TF Khouros Girl hails from the great mare Klassic, an Aristocrat mare who has produced many Champions in the breeding shed and in the showring. Khouros Girl is a full sister to National Champion mare TF Queen Ahearts, and is sired by the illustrious World Champion stallion, Khouros, whose sire Tersk-bred sire Plakat was World Reserve Champion stallion. Plakat was one of Europe’s most memorable and successful show horses, and aged with particular magnificence, winning championships at the All Nations Cup and the UK International at 22 years of age. Plakat also proved himself as a sire of excellent quality. His outstanding progeny include the excellent Polish stallion Galba (X Gza Gza), Warandes Plakat (X Barwna), Mangan (x Mangani), the mare Khouri BB (Khouros X Moncya), and the excellent Polish sire Galba (X Gza Gza), the world-renowned show horse with an extraordinary record of accomplishment – World Champion in Paris, All Nations Cup Champion in Aachen, Middle East Champion in Jordan, Arabian Horse at Home Champion in Amman, UK International Champion at Towerlands, European Reserve Champion in Verona, Egyptian International Reserve Champion in El Zahraa, and Kauber Platte Reserve Champion in Germany. Plakat in turn is considered one of the very best sons of Straight Egyptian sire ASWAN – a breed legend with dozens of champion get still influencing the best breeding programs in every corner of the globe. PLAKAT’s dam is the PANEL daughter PCHELKA, making him a very close relative of the legendary sire PALAS, credited with the largest number of champion progeny in the history of the Polish breeding program. Klassic is a daughter of the fantastic producing stallion Bask Clasix and out of the outstanding Khemosabi daughter Khemogina. Pstardancer is linebred to the great stallion Aswan through both Khouros and Padrons Psyche. Rosalind Mazzawi has contributed several stories to Aramco World magazine on Islamic art, but her first love is horses. An equestrian journalist, she writes regularly for Plaisirs Equestres This article appeared on pages 22-33 of the March/April 1986 print edition of Saudi Aramco World. "Born in Egypt and bred by the Egyptian Agricultural Organization (EAO), Aswan was sent to Russia as a gift from President Nasser to President Khrushchev upon the completion of the High Dam at Aswan which was built with Russian aid. An extraordinary animal, Aswan has sired numerous champions and has made the Tersk bloodline world famous. In Leiden, therefore, it was not surprising that the Russian influence was strong. The reserve filly champion, Plareri, is a daughter of Plakat, one of the best known stallions in the Netherlands and a son of Aswan. Plakat himself was placed fifth in the senior male championship, one son, Warandes Pascha of Belgium, was second in the senior male championship and another, Pasch Bianco, was fourth in the junior male championship. Another winner from the Aswan line was the exceptionally good-looking Carmen. A one-year-old Aswan granddaughter, Carmen is a striking dark chestnut with flaxen mane and tail.
